The Bible in Its Context: How to Improve Your Study of the Scriptures
3644.TheBibleinItsContext-CraigKeener_pbb_v01b.docx
I thought this might be a useful PBB for some and a first for me to share. I create very rudimentary PBB's for myself but have never posted one.
This is not my work, but that of Dr. Craig Keener. The text in it's entirety is his. The only modifications I made are those specific to allow for the automated compilation that Logos does with any PBB and a few formatting issues for it to display correctly on my system with one caveat that I changed the title of the last chapter from "Conclusion for Chapters 1—10" to simply "Conclusions" since there are not 10 chapters but rather 7 chapters with the last chapter having 10 subsections. -(It seemed the only way that it made any sense.) My labor was very limited but I thought I should try and contribute something since I am often blessed by what others post here.
Your mileage may vary-It's is definitely not perfect. I get 21 warnings when I compile it but it still seems to function well for me. I have no doubt it could be improved on immensely if one so desired.
Legalities
To my understanding Dr. Craig Keener has made this document viable for public distribution and use and it doesn't appear to conflict with Logos policies.
(If I have overlook some aspect that negates this statement I would like to be informed and I will do what I can to remove the post unless it's to late in which case I would be grateful if the moderator would take the necessary step.)
Dr. Craig Keener's opening statements within the document are as follow and are intact in my edited PBB above:

This manual may be shared freely but only on the condition that it is always free and that these credits remain. (It is “shareware” for public use, like a sermon, originally designed for use with students in Nigeria, not for traditional publication or financial remuneration.) The “background” illustrations can be found in much greater detail in Craig Keener’s (i.e., my) IVP Bible Background Commentary: New Testament (Downers Grove, IL: InterVarsity, 1993, with about a quarter of a million in print)—Dr. Craig Keener

I didn't realize someone had already done this. I found the same book and did it myself. So here's another version of the same book if anyone wants it. I went through and prepared Bible links. I also made the headings a little more consistent and fixed some minor typos (such as replace l2 with 12).
