What is the best commentary written from an Orthodox perspective ?
There aren't many, as most comments on Scripture are derived from our services or the Fathers, but in Logos we do have a recently completed commentary on the New Testament from Ancient Faith Publishing.

I would also be interested in if there is a small (one or two volume) commentary written from the Orthodox perspective. I do own the Orthodox Library Builder (257 vols.) And honestly am not too interested in getting a large set at this time but I would be most interested to learn more about if a smaller resource even exists. I know the eastern Orthodox community is quite broad including Russian Greek and Coptic, and each of these may have differing interpretations. I own in both software and hard copies of www.thomasnelson.com/the-orthodox-study-bible but I was hoping to find something a bit more in-depth.

Again, there really isn't anything like that. The notes in the OSB come close, but they aren't exhaustive. I can show you several one-volume commentaries on the Divine Liturgy, but not any on the Scriptures themselves.
Perhaps someone out there is working on one? I think it would definitely have an interested audience.

The Johanna Manley "commentaries" would be a good addition.
