iOS 8 Issue? Slides not showing correctly

Since the IOS 8 update, I've noticed an issue with my iPad (iPad Air, 128gb, iOS 8.0.2).

Last Sunday we had trouble getting the slide to show on the main screen of the iPad. The little thumbnails showed on the bottom, but the large slide in the middle wasn't there - just two triangles ( <> ) and no active slide viewing. If we went to another app and came back to Proclaim, it started working - sometimes after two or three tries. Today it did the same thing but I couldn't get it to come back to show the slide on the screen until after the service I was doing was over. Without that, you can't tell what slide you're on. I tried the different icons on the screen, which I thought might switch the view, but they weren't all working correctly...

Is this an iOS 8 issue?

This is a known issue and we are working on a fix; it looks like you are participating in the other thread about this issue as well so you might know this already! Like Ish said in the other thread, if you switch from landscape mode to portrait mode (or vice versa), the slides should load correctly. Also, if you switch to a different view and then back to the main view, the slides should load correctly as well. Both of these workarounds have worked for me when encountering this issue.

We are able to fix this bug server-side, meaning you can use the existing version of the iPad app from the App Store and it will work. There's an an update coming in a few days which will future-proof against this bug coming back, but you shouldn't see it anymore in the existing version.
