Editing song lyrics

Is there a way to edit song lyrics such that when increasing the font size, the font size selected would actually be applied and the text would wrap and create additional slides? Right now, all I can seem to get is all text staying on its original slide and the font size varying between lines on the same slide even when I specify a particular font size.

Proclaim teats song lyrics differently to most word processors.

The developers believe that there is inherent 'meaning' in both the way the lines scan and the way that verses are divided.

For this reason the program does not facilitate line wrapping without the deliberate intervention of the compiler of the service.

It is a position that I strongly support having been to services where the whole meaning of a verse has been changed by an inappropriate line split and on one occasion having heard the congregation burst into laughter at the new interpretation that faced them.

You are able to increase the font to whatever you want and to divide verses into separate slides but the program makes sure that divisions and line splits are deliberate decisions and that you review the results rather than be embarrassed by automatic but inappropriate phrasing.

OK, that makes sense. We just need to divide slides and even wrap lines in each slide for some songs because the font is just too small to see otherwise.

This may be the case Bob but don't forget that other factors mitigate against legibility - my pet hate is fancy backgrounds for the text.

Not only does this make the text harder to read (and therefore makes an increase in size necessary) it also distracts from the meaning of the words.

Light text on a dark background appears bigger to the congregation - I was surprised at the difference this made when I first tied it.

Nowadays, for songs, I use a dark blue background and white text. Nobody even commented on the loss of my time consuming choice of 'appropriate' and colourful backgrounds.
