Who are you to grant absolution to another? Are you your brother's keeper?

The more I think about this, the more it has to be a logos employee.Rosie Perera said:Everett Doonand said:The Secret Hebron is finally out. Me too...
Oh, you're "out" are you? We still don't know who you are, so I doubt it.
And you are a complete rat fink to have been posting all these leaks. Either you betrayed a confidence Logos placed in you (if you are an employee or an alpha tester) or you stole something that wasn't yours from someone else who was a trusted insider. In either case, you're a scoundrel. Unless you are really a Logos employee in disguise who was supposed to be doing this to raise anticipation, but the Logos employees I know have all been denying that about you and have wanted to find out who you are too, so they could stop you.
Given 10 minutes with IP logs from the forum, compared to logins on the software anyone could know which account was tied to doonand.
Only someone with skin in the game would go through the efforts to hide in a torpark, or other proxy scheme.
Likely another Logos Marketing Team extravaganza. Though as you said, they are rat fink esque.

They did apparently try to identify him through his IP address, but he was hiding behind a proxy so he showed up under different IP addresses each time he posted, and the locations of those IP addresses were all over the map. Perhaps it was a Logos employee, trying to hide his trail to protect his job. I'm guessing that if it was, and if they found out who he was, and if he really wasn't supposed to be doing it (i.e., it wasn't a marketing ploy), he would have been one of the casualties of Bob Pritchett's "Fire Someone Today" principle. You're right that if it were someone outside, I don't know why he would have gone to the trouble, however nowadays it really isn't much trouble to hide your identity online.

Or you could just do it from your cellphone over the carrier's data network (assuming said user did not have the Logos mobile app installed to be safe.)

I don't think so. I went back and read some of his past posts when he first started. Doesn't really sound like it and the timeline is wrong.
I do think he knew better than to post and that he should have kept it to himself. But done is done.

Mu guess ... some young adult so proud of himself for having found the beta that he couldn't keep it to himself but ethical enough to need to keep some boundaries.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I thought we decided during the beta it was either Bradley or Bob[;)]

We have to recognize that Logos does have a discount for recent package purchasers that alleviates some of this discomfort. Its a pretty good discount too.
I purposely bought Logos 5 Baptist Diamond knowing of the impending release of Logos 6, Not only does Faithlife treat us well with the latest upgrade, we get to keep all resources in the Logos 5 package that may have been dropped from the new package.
Logos 7 Collectors Edition

Thats interesting. I picked up L5 baptist gold. Would be interested in finding out the details on that. Working out a deal to buy L6 Portfolio, and I think this may make a difference in the price.
