Logos slowing down my mac

I have had problems ever since I installed logos on my mac. When ever the program is running it slows my computer down so much that I have to force quit logos to use anything. Any thoughts to how I can fix this?

Can you give us some detail about the mac you have, maybe also the number of resources.
Does your mac use a HDD or SSD? are you new to Logos?

Welcome [:D]
Has initial indexing completed ? Logos downloads resource files, followed by locally indexing them for faster searching. Personally avoid trying to use Mac while indexing is in progress. Also change Energy Saver so computer never sleeps to allow Indexer to run for many hours.
Note: forcing Logos Indexer to quit before indexing is complete causes indexing to start over next time.

Indexing can be a nightmare take hours (maybe even over a day if you machine is a few years older). It will use, sometimes over 10 GB in temp disk space to do the indexes (you do recover it after indexing). After this horror is past new resources will take only a few minutes (typically) to index. And after indexing is done Logos will remain a little of a resource hog, but generally i find it plays nice with other apps and does not leave my mac in an unusable state ever. Logos may seem slow and sluggish if your mac doesn't have an SSD as Logos is a very disk intensive program. I hope you have better luck with Logos soon. BTW, have you run disk utility / permissions in there too... these can cause issues.
