I'm using Proclaim on a Mavericks iMac. I modifying a Bible item, changing the version of the Bible and the application crashed.

I took a look at your logs and it didn't seem to indicate a crash. Does a window come up saying 'Proclaim Quit Unexpectedly' and then gives you the option to ignore or report? If this is the case, please try to reproduce the issue, then click report. This should show more log info; Copy this log info and post it here so we can take a look.
You may be able to find the most recent Apple Diagnostic crash log for Proclaim too.
These are located: ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports
Look for the most recent Proclaim[date-somenumbers-machinename-morenumbers].crash
