Recover a deleted presentation

Is there a way to recover a presentation that we inadvertently deleted?

You can do this by signing in to documents.logos.com
I'm not at a computer at the moment but if you have questions I can provide screen shots.

As a test, I went into Proclaim with document.logos.com open in Google Chrome. In Proclaim, I deleted a practice presentation, knowing that it was in document.logos.com. I refreshed document.logos.com and the practice presentation was still there. Then I clicked on that presentation in document.logos.com and it opened up, just showing the slide thumbnails. Then I went back to the document.logos.com page and it was gone. So I am not sure that this route will help us much unless we try to recover something before we do anything else in either Proclaim or document.logos.com. Is there a way to get document.logos.com to keep the files, even if deleted in Proclaim? And, how is it they are saved there anyway.

Actually I had not, thank you so much for bringing that to my attention! [:D]
Is there a setting in Proclaim that saves all presentations to document.logos.com?

I got excited when I saw this because I thought it might solve my problem, but it didn't. My songs from October 12th presentation are completely missing from my proclaim. I looked at documents.logos and I found my presentations and even some deleted presentations, but not anything from October 12 and the songs I am looking for. Where could a song that I have presented without any problem have disappeared to? It does not come up under the "add item" search either and I have tried even possible spelling. I have also scrolled through the entire list of previously used items and the songs from that sunday are not there. It took quite a bit of time to create these just as I wanted them so I really don't want to have to redo that work and them not be sure if I can find them again. Ideas???

They are all saved there automatically.

documents.logos.com will show you deleted presentations but it won't show you intermediate revisions of a presentation. In other words, if you created a song service item in a presentation, then deleted the songs, then deleted the presentation, restoring presentation would not bring back the songs. It will only bring you back to the last synced revision.
What is the name of the presentation that held the songs that you're missing? I can poke around and see what I can find.

It was just "10-12-14". For the service on the 19th I just deleted the songs from the 12th, renamed the presentation and used it on the 19th. Previously this had worked well and the songs were saved in the "reuse items" list, but this time they were not saved there. Before when I copied a presentation for the next week and used it then it duplicated all of my presentation items in the reuse list, so that is why I started just renaming and using the same presentation. So perhaps you can suggest how I should create a new presentation without duplicating all of the items in it, but perhaps not having to start from scratch with a completely new presentation? I suppose that I am still getting used to how to manage my proclaim properly!
In a potentially related issue, is it safe yet to upgrade my mac to the latest version of proclaim? A couple of weeks ago there were issues with the upgrade and macs so I was told to not upgrade until all of the fixes were implemented. I noticed that Yosemite may have an issue, but perhaps it is ok to install the latest proclaim version on my current OS. I am currently using proclaim 1.23.0.0269.

Only items that exist in a non deleted presentation show up in the Reuse Items list. Your best option is to duplicate the previous Sunday's service and start from there. This will leave you with a lot of duplicate items from the pre and post service sections but hopefully searching for something like "song" will help filter out the noise.

Moving to 10.10 is fine as long as you don't rely on audio over airplay. There have been some issues reported here and I haven't seen an update from Apple yet.

Ok, i will upgrade my proclaim and os to latest versions. I will also make sure I don't delete previous presentations. It is nice to know since I had no idea that doing so would delete list items (as my understanding was that everything was automatically saved). Perhaps in the future Proclaim could devise a way for a presentation to be duplicated without duplicating items in the reuse list. If it had a way to recognize that an item is already in the list and leave it as it is. It would certainly save some time, clutter and space for storing the files. Thanks for your help!
