Controlling what people see on projector

I'm new to this program and am trying to learn how to make it work. Currently operating on a Macbook Pro.

Is there anyway users can see the control screen on their computer to make edits if necessary during the service? Doing all this while the congregation/audience can only see the 'On Air' version of the sideshow?

What you suggest is in fact the usual way that the program operates.

I think you will accomplish what you are looking for by setting this menu.
