EGW Lifeworks vs Old Libronix

I have a question on this new EGW lifeworks.  https://www.logos.com/product/46564/ellen-g-white-lifeworks-collection

This as advertised now says it has 334 resources.  I purchased EGW writings with the SDA bible commentary set in Logos 4.  My library says 410 resources of EGW writings.  What happened to all the other resources?  What happens if I purchase the SDA Silver 6 package that has her writings, will I lose the other 76 other EGW resources?

Either there is a loss in the other resources or there is a typo in the ad in the link above.  Does anyone have an answer?  I want to upgrade to 6 but I'm concerned I'll lose the the other resources.

Peace...

Some of the 334 stated files are collections with extra files--the "complete published works of Ellen G. White" has actually 402 files. And that's what's being recompiled for L6 Bronze & Silver.

I'll have the EGW Lifeworks product page and its image changed to reflect 402 files, to erase that confusion. This will get done as soon as Faithlife fixes more urgent L6 situations.

Meanwhile, feel free to upgrade without losing any of your existing EGW Files. And your upgrade price to L6 SDA Bronze or Silver should reflect dynamic credit for already owning the EGW library (even though, like many of us, you bought them in the old Libronix days, we are still due a free update of all 402 files).

Here is our plan regarding the Ellen G. White Lifeworks:

    • Anyone who already owns the old EGW library (having purchased it in the now-retired “expanded edition” of the SDA Commentary) will receive the updated EGW files—free.
    • It will take some weeks to recompile all 402 documents into the latest Logos technology. When that’s done, the updated files will download automatically to their Logos libraries.
    • At that time those who purchase upgrades to Logos 6 Bronze and Silver will also receive automatic downloads of the updated EGW files. Meanwhile, they immediately receive the existing EGW files if they buy an upgrade to Logos 6 Bronze & Silver—so they won’t have to wait to have EGW in their Logos library.
    • When the newly recompiled EGW files arrive, they will be completely searchable and interlinked with the rest of the owner's Logos 6 library.

That sounds outstanding to me.  Thank you for all the hard work Dr. Weber.

Thank you, brother, for your affirmation. It's truly amazing what God is doing here at Faithlife, and I'm so thankful we can all be a part of it.

Many students here at the seminary are all a buzz about Logos this week.  THere is chatter amongst the professors as well.  I'm glad to hear from the professors that they are finally coming to the conclusion that Logos is not just a book reader but is a legitimate resource for in depth original language exegesis.

That's great to hear! Truly Logos 6 is an amazing product. I can hardly believe what the Faithlife team has accomplished.

I had the libronix expanded Ellen G White software that was incorporated into Logos 5 and subsequently into Logos 6 for space and convenience I use to love being able to open and search this product separately when studying in Logos 5. What can I do to keep this as since I have re-installed my windows 7 operating system I have not been able to open download the books in the library on this software.
