[resolved]Logos 6 Library a mess BUG

There is a big white space on the left of the preview and when I click on a column header it selects a header two rows to the left. Cannot open the concertinas either. It's pretty much unusable

OK, so I just saw this thread https://community.logos.com/forums/p/92884/646598.aspx
here is my response from that thread:
In that case, this will be fixed when the free engine update is officially available, on February 3rd, 2015. Smile
I'm sorry to be a grouch but it is so bad for me that I can barely open a resource. I click on a concertina and it open a resource. I click one resource and it opens another. I cannot access mytags at all.
For me, to wait until Feb is beyond unacceptable. Can I get a refund/downgrade.

That is a known problem that some people on the Mac are seeing. It has been reported and I think Logos is trying to work on a fix, if they've been able to reproduce it on their machines:

What's a concertina? Apart from one of these:
Are you referring to the collapsing sections in the library when you sort/group by certain fields?
Interesting. I've never heard the term concertina used for such features in software before, but I can see why it would make sense.

Yes, a know problem that will be fixed in February. I am currently organising my library for research. I have effectively been shut down until next year, hence my request for a downgrade.
I don't play any musical instruments but concertina is a common term for similar features in we design.

Did you notice Bradley's smiley? He was teasing the person who started that thread (Ben) because Ben had not bought the upgrade or crossgrade but had sneakly downloaded the free engine before it's supposed to be released (see Mark Barnes's comment about that). I'm sure you will get the bug fix as soon as it is pushed out, which will be a Service Release, hopefully sometime soon.

You learn something new every day. I've heard them called accordion features before, but of course a concertina is a cousin to an accordion. So it makes perfect sense. It was just new to me. The Wikipedia page about Accordion (GUI) doesn't mention concertina as a synonym, but I guess it should. However it doesn't appear to be very common. Google shows nearly 300x as many hits for "accordion menu" as for "concertina menu."

Nope, you weren't wrong. They are apparently also called concertina menus, but just by a small minority of developers. It appears to be a UK thing. Here's one site where they are mentioned: http://www.electronic-product-development.co.uk/category/javascript/accordion-concertina-menus
Sorry for hijacking this thread onto a completely different topic!

It still doesn't work after last night's little upgrade on my Mac. I am having trouble getting any access to books at the top of the list in Library.
A work around I am using is to switch the view from DetailsView to Tile View or Cover View. For now that keeps me in the game.

We have not published a software update yet. Hopefully by the end of the day today we will have this fixed.
