Not happy with "Prioritise Resources" as Keylink Replacement

Is "Prioritise" the full extent of the replacement system for "Keylinking"? I really hope it will be expanded to include some of the L3 functionality e.g.

- the ability to set options for individual Data Types
- the ability to have mouseover popups e.g. on Greek NTs

Currently, some resources, like BDAG, are tagged only as "English" - so how is it to be bumped to the top of the list for Greek searches etc?

While prioritizing resources, you can right-click on a resource in the prioritized list and set advanced options. This lets you restrict the use of that resource to a particular data type (and even to a particular range of values for that data type) or to lookups that originate from a specific resource.

With the first case, you could, for example, limit the ESV to "Bible" lookups for Genesis, falling through to the next Bible for every other verse. Or you could set the source on the Lust LXX Lexicon so that it was only used for looking up words in the LXX; Greek KeyLinks from other resources would go to the next Greek lexicon on the priority list.

Yes. Everything you store or customize should be synched.

The power and flexibility is great, but that would be a LOT of work for a library of a few thousand books.

My guess is the power comes when setting up a commentary set. I could pick my favorite commentaries and set them up to work in a chain. Right? Even mix and match different commentary sets or fill in the gaps for missing books?

The problem is we don't know the default priority for particular data types, may not know what data types to be concerned about and are confused as to how many priorities are being catered for with a single manually created list e.g. I wouldn't suspect that a Greek lexicon not in the list would be the prime resource for Strong's Numbers and then have to insert Enhanced Strong's Lexicon in an appropriate position in the list so it would not become the prime Greek resource (unless I knew enough to fiddle with Advanced Options).

Perhaps the best thing to be done at this stage is NOT to hide the Advanced Options by default and provide better hints when hovering over each box.

I really think we need to have access to data type info, and be able to prioritze keylinks and PRAs according to individual needs. There is too much flexibility lost. It can just be an advanced option hidden somewhere so it doesn't confuse the novice, if that's the major concern.

Click on "Prioritize"

Right click the book title and select "Advanced"

This, I think, is what you are looking for.

OK - I see it now - you mean the book title in the right column, not the title in the library.

I agree completely - organising resources by Data Type was much more intuitive - this way, I have no idea how to keep track of what is linked to what, and how to view quickly the options for a given Data Type.

For example, is there any way to set the top N Greek resources as in L3? I know which Lexica I want to appear and in which order - with a single "prioritize" list, can items be ordered in priority, or are they just prioritized?

THIS IS CRITICAL! We really need to be able prioritize resouces by datatype, PLUS, we need to be able to right click on a word, and have the top 8 or so prioritized resouces on the right-click menu for that particular data type. This was a very powerful feature of v3 that needs to be retained in v4.

Although we can use the advanced link to prioritize according to data type, it is very impracticle to use when you want to modify things. You have no way of looking at the prioritized list for a given data type, other than looking that the properties associated with each resouces. SUGGESTION: It would be nice to have the OPTION of separating the list by data type, so we could see at a glance how each data type is prioritized.
