TDNT to Lutheran Platinum 6?

I'm disappointed- I was going to get myself Lutheran Gold 5 for Christmas, mostly because of TDNT, and now it'll be much longer before I'll be able to afford it.  I may have to buy it separately- the packages for Lutheran 6 seem much less useful to me than the ones for Lutheran 5 were.

And, to toot a dying horn- we now have a Lutheran Platinum 6... that still doesn't include Luther's works.  Huh.  I don't know that anybody's asked this exact question before- is it that CPH doesn't want LW sold as a part of a set, any set, no matter the price; or is it that they don't want to budge on the price in order to make it part of a more-reasonably priced set and Logos doesn't think we'll pay that much extra for a set with LW in it?  (Or, secret option C, are you not allowed to tell us due to legal constraints?)  Just curious.  Because if you need people to write CPH and tell them, yes we would, you may be able to find volunteers.  :)

    Hello Pastor Kay!

We now have the TDNT Abridged in Lutheran Gold, with the full 10-volume edition in Platinum. We did this in part to make room for more new content in Lutheran Gold itself. For example:

    • H. C. Leupold Commentary Collection
    • Lenski's Commentary on the New Testament
    • The Eerdmans Companion to the Bible
    • A History of Biblical Interpretation, vol. 1: The Ancient Period
    • A History of Biblical Interpretation, vol. 2: The Medieval through the Reformation Periods
    • New Testament Theology: Basic Issues in the Current Debate
    • Old Testament Theology: Basic Issues in the Current Debate
    • Justification: Five Views
    • Revisiting Paul’s Doctrine of Justification: A Challenge to the New Perspective
    • Systematic Theology (3 vols.) (Pannenberg)
    • Dictionary of Christianity in America

Along with several other new volumes and all the new datasets, interactive media, features, and media collections that make up Logos 6.

As far as Luther's Works are concerned, I would love to include that in a Lutheran base package! However, that is unfortunately not up to us at this time. We'll continue striving on that, and other, fronts, for the sake of our Lutheran friends and customers.
