Formatting

Hello,

In Proclaim on a Mac with osX, I have to change the formatting of songs every time I open them. For example: font size, bold, and centering all must be changed every time. Is there a way to save all these formatting changes?

Thanks

This is expected behavior. Since all media have set styles and formatting, they will reset whenever a new item is created. This is to make presentations more aesthetically pleasing and cut down on the formatting that users have to do. In your case, what you want to do is use the 'Reuse Item' menu within 'Add Item'. This holds all service items in presentations that are currently available. What I would suggest is doing the following:

    1. Create a song item
    2. Format the slide in the way you want (font size, font color, etc.)
    3. Name the slide something easy to search for ('Song template' for example)

Now when you want to use that specific formatting for a song in a presentation, open the 'Add Item' menu, search for the item title in the 'Reuse Items' menu, and then click on the song that you wish to add.
