How to get the most from EGW's writings in Logos
While you wait for the new updated and tagged version of EGW's Lifeworks, I wanted to share a quick tip or trick that I've found to be one of the most powerful features of Logos currently available for SDAs: Being able to quickly reference EGW's writings on just about any passage of the Bible! This can be very helpful for personal study.
Disclaimer: This walkthrough is for the mobile version of the app, but can easily be replicated in the desktop version of the app.
Step 1: Navigate to a desired passage in the Bible
Step 2: Swipe up on a specific verse of interest, and select the Passage Guide.
Step 3: Select "The Ellen White Writings Scriptural Index" under the "Commentaries" heading (if you prioritize this resource in your library, it will show up at the top here).
Step 4: Select an EGW reference from the Scriptural Index
Step 5: Be blessed by EGW's comments on that specific passage!

I also wanted to mention that this quick tip is nice for when you're reading an e-book from another author. Any time a Bible verse is mentioned, you can quickly click/tap on that reference, and then follow these steps from there and easily compare what that author says about that passage with EGW's comments on that passage.

Good idea. Thanks Timothy.

This is a quick workaround that's particularly useful in mobile devices. Of course, the EGW Index and its Supplement are not as exhaustive as a direct digitized search of the data.
Meanwhile, another workaround is making a collection of all the EGW books, and then doing a direct search of that collection--for specific content as well as scriptures.
Nothing will be as good as the fully tagged version, which we eagerly await. No specific timeline on that--all I can say is that it has the highest priority.
