The Home Page rendering looks much better to me!

Hopefully they will find a fix so the library opens in a floating panel again soon.

Ctrl-L now opens Library in floating window, Windows, did not on 6.0 SR-3. Is that what you are referring to Mike?

Here's a thread with a bug/annoyance that hopefully can be addressed during the 6.0a beta release cycle. See also the thread that it links to for more information:

It most certainly is, I did not see this fix in the release notes but if it has been fixed that is most excellent.

It most surely works now!

Font rendering much improved thanks!

Hmm, if it's been fixed, my machine certainly never got the news. I'm running 6.0 SR-3 (on a Win 7 machine) and Ctrl-L is not opening the library in a floating window for me. It opens in a new window but not a floating window, like it did in L5

I am actually running Verbum on Program Scaling=90% so I can get 6 columns and I have a ton of room for new symbols on the tool bar for short cuts. Font is much better - not quite as good as the Mac version which has the same number of columns, but I know a little more improvement will come with future versions of Chromium.

Will this footnote problem be fixed in 6.0a?

How do I revert back to non-beta again?
I just got the Logos 6 upgrade engine as part of the Beta 5.3 upgrade. I do not have any cross grades yet.
I would like to stay with the stable release until I cross grade and a couple of cycles of beta are released.
I can just wait for the current beta to go stable I guess. Or should I set my update channel to stable now?
Thanks!
By the way, I REALLY LIKE LOGOS 6!!!
May the Lord bless you and keep you.

If you're on 6.0a beta 1, you can't revert back to 6.0, unless you completely re-install. You should set update channel to default, and then you'll stay on the beta channel until 6.0a is launched, and then you'll automatically revert to the stable channel.
If you're on 6.0, then you can make sure you stay on 6.0 by the same command: set update channel to default

Sounds like you are on the stable.
Just to be sure in the command box, type "set update channel to stable"

I experience repeated crashes every time Logos initialises after this update.
I attach the logs.

It looks like /Users/davidknoll/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/ql39k1in.fyr/ResourceManager/ResourceManager.db is corrupt. It's safe to delete, and it will be recreated next time you start Logos (standby for a longish "Preparing Your Library" message).

Unfortunately the logos app crashed during the update to logos 6.0a B1. It keeps asking me to download the actual install file but I don't have a link. If I download the Logos 6.0 file it tells me it will not install. Can somebody send me a direct link to the download of 6.0a B1 so I can reinstall? Thanks!

We'll need to do that off the forum, as Logos doesn't want the links published publicly yet. If you let me know your email address via www.markbarnes.net, I can email it to you.

Thank you! I deleted and it crashed. I deleted again and it crashed again. Here are the logs.

Alternatively, you could look in %localappdata%\Logos5\Install\Installers and see if it's there.

Even though I have L6 installed in the "Logos5" directory. The new installer on both of my machines is in the "Logos" directory. It is the only thing in that directory. The "Logos5" directory contains old versions of the installer along with current L6 data and program files. Is this unique to my computers or anyone else see this too?

Has this bug been picked up by the dev team. It still appears in the 6 beta.

In beta 6 it doesn't move back and forth in the upper left corner. It just sits there and flickers once in a while. Do you need a screen video?

You might consider using your alternate installation so that you aren't down in a time crunch.
If you don't have one, you might make a new user account on your computer, and then install one of the other Faithlife products - verbum, or L5, or something along those lines.
Good luck!L2 lvl4 (...) WORDsearch, all the way through L10,

Kurt, I couldn't find your email address at the link you provided (it went to rc.com when I clicked on it, which is weird, because it said c2rc.com) but I found a "contact me" form at www.christ2Rculture.com and have sent you the download link for 6.0B Beta 1.

Strange the way the link worked. Yes,... www.christ2Rculture.com is the correct site.... www.c2rc.com is just the short link. Thank you for emailing me!
Rosie - You rock! The link let me download the program and get started. Unfortunately after the program loads it sits for about 3 seconds looking stable then crashes. This happens every time I try to start it. For now... I am farther than I was before. At least the program starts.
Any ideas?

I think I have it working. I was able to quickly type "Rebuild Index" before it crashed. Next program load index is rebuilding and program still running.
Thank you! Thank you!
