Thanks, Steve! I'm only now just discovering this.
You do such great tools to aid in our use of Logos. Thanks for offering them for no charge. I'm sure many of us would gladly donate a couple of dollars or so to help support your continued work on these if you put a PayPal Donate button on your website.

Hi Rosie,
You are most welcome!
Thank you for the kind words. You have a generous heart. i am sure others would have a generous heart as well, but it would not feel right for me to accept donations. The tools that i have given are my gifts to my brothers and sisters in Christ. i only hope that they find them useful.
Thanks again Rosie!!

I was just bemoaning the fact that there was no Pan and Zoom feature with Logos maps when I came across Rosie's post yesterday. I couldn't download the program until today because my program was indexing all of yesterday with purchases and an update, I don't know why it took so long, but that another story for another day. Thank you steve for this tool it is just what the Dr ordered, great! [:)]

Using CIV inside Logos
you can add CIV for each computer you use into Favorites and then access CIV after you have added a map to your clipboard. This will open your map in CIV from inside of Logos.
Creating a Favorite for CIV
- Create a folder in Favorites to hold your CIV links
- Drag the CIV desktop shortcut and drop it into your new folder
- Rename the new favorite to reflect the computer where you just dragged the shortcut from
(click the image below to view full-size in your browser)
Steps to view a map in Logos using CIV
- Locate the map you want to view in CIV
- Right-Click on the map in your resource
- In the popup menu click on Image on the right side of the menu
- Then click on Copy on the left side of the menu
(now the image is in your clipboard) - Now click on the Favorite in your CIV folder to open the image in CIV
Logos will open CIV and your clipboard map image will show in CIV
Now you can zoom & pan the map in CIV. You can even have CIV show your map in the Full Screen mode (similar to Reading View in Biblical Places).
0 - Create a folder in Favorites to hold your CIV links

Steve was a great guy, but he passed away several years ago.

Yes. But also: yes, this tool still works fine under L9 on Win 10 - I have put it onto my shortcut bar in case I want to look into an image in detail, like such:
Have joy in the Lord!

Steve was my best Friend. He has done a lot for me in performing the PBB and we have studied Bible study on line for about two years. He was a very helpful brother.
Blessings in Christ.
