PowerPoint Numbering Bullets changing to letters

When we import PowerPoint files into proclaim the first slide changes from 1, 2, 3 ... to a, b, c .... which is really annoying.  The second slide programmed to start from a later number remains numbered.  It seems to be that Proclaim assumes the default is letters rather than numbers.  I'm assuming one an Apple the default is letters but as a windows program I would normally expect the windows default of numbers would be upheld.  Unfortunately one cannot force to start from 1 so we either put up with the first slide being letters or we have to start with the number 2 on all numbered bullets.

Please can we get this issue sorted?

Are you referring to the numbers I'm pointing out in the image below? or the actual text on the slide?

Scott thank you for your reply.

I'm referring to entries on the slides themselves within the presentation.  As I was writing my reply I ran an example to show you a screenshot as this week I have a bit more time on my hands.  And interestingly it would appear an update which was installed last Sunday morning has seemingly solved this issue.  I've gone back a week and yes it was happening and now it is not.

    Hooray!

I can say it has driven me insane for a year and typically as soon as I sat down and said what problem I was having the solution has been done.  Thank you to the team.  I'm however assuming they already had it in hand but if it was following my message then wow!
