Suggestion: Less intrusive note indicators

I would like to have at least one option for a note indicator about 1/4 the size of the ones pictured below. They really are intrusive in their current size. They don't need to be much bigger than the size of the NASB's own note indicator letters, but 1/4 the current size would be acceptable.
I would also like to see that style indicator positioned up at the top of the current indicators and with the proportionately smaller space to the left appropriate for this smaller indicator. This would allow me to view the text with the note indicators 'turned on' and not have the layout be as distracting as it now is. Thank you.

Also,
On references that have more than one note would it be possible to only show one note indicator then it act more like a footnote where you click on it and then choose which note you would like to go to? Did that make sense?

Maybe like a note indicator with a number on it to indicate the number of notes attached to the reference? Then you would click on it and a menu would pop up with a list of the notes? For example, Mark's verse 14 would have a "2" on the note indicator (located by the verse number) and the pop up menu would show:
1-Note color-"grumbling"
2-Note color-"disputing"
Is that what you're thinking?

[Y] The issue is that the note icons are also control by the text zoom function- make the note icon zoom separate from the general text.

Have things changed with L6? In L5, the issue is that the note icon is not controlled by the font slider, but stays the same size:

That would be disastrous for all of us who use different icons for different purposes. We'd have to click on every single indicator to see if they include notes of the kind we are currently interested in.
My primary issue with them is that I want them after the text, not before. Please, Logos, give us that option.

Smaller would be preferable.

This is perfect and needed! Notes can grow pretty unwieldy the longer the software is used.

Mine is definitely changing with slider zoom within the resource, does that mean its a bug?

No if you had more than one color or icon it would still show both (in the way I am talking about) but if you have to plain yellow squares, that is what I'm referring to.
