using remote app

I have been having a lot of issues with the remote app.  Somewhere in mid service my ipad displays  "unable to change slide" it will do this a few times and then the app will close.

At the time I am within 15 feet of the router (with a very strong signal) and less than 25 feet from the computer that is running the presentation. There are no other issues with network in this room.

Today after it did this the computer froze up.  It seems to be getting worse each week.

    Hi Wayne,

    I'm sorry you for the issues you've been having with Proclaim.  There weren't any server problems on our end this weekend that would affect the remote, and it's very unlikely an error in the remote would cause a desktop crash.  The log files from the desktop would be helpful here in helping us figure out what went wrong.  I'll follow up with you over e-mail to get some specifics about your setup and the log files.

    Hello

    I've been trying to find a place where I might suggest an improvement for the ipad Proclaim app and I hope I can either leave it here or get a suggestion where else to post this.

    I've been working with it for some time now and the four display options are nice. Yet I am missing an option that would use the full size of my ipad display to show only the current and the next slide, so I am reminded what is coming next.

    The presentation can be controlled by another person sitting at a computer... and because slides automatically turn on my ipad as well... I would have the heads up I need to stay alert during sermons.

    Thank you, Peter

    Hi Peter,

    Thanks for the suggestion.  Something like that is coming very soon (for both tablets and phones).  You'll be able to follow presentations without controlling them, and we now display the list of slides vertically for on-air presentations, so you're able to see more than one at a time.
