SUGGESTION: Sunday Sermons of the Great Fathers
Sunday Sermons of the Great Fathers: A Manual of Preaching, Spiritual Reading, and Meditation
This beautifully bound 4-volume, hard-cover set is a superb series for preaching, spiritual reading and meditation. It contains the Gospel reading for each Sunday and Feast Day, and parallel Gospel texts, along with several sermons for each Gospel from both early Eastern and Western Fathers of the church, including Ambrose, John Chrysostom, Cyril of Alexandria, Leo the Great, Ephraem, Augustine and more. Also, each sermon is followed by the Catena Aurea (Golden Chain) of St. Thomas Aquinas. There is no better way to enter the mind of the early Church Fathers and the spirit of Sacred Scripture than this series.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

YES. This resource is just begging for the searchability that Verbum provides.
(With the caveat that the readings used are those of the Latin rite missal prior to the conciliar and post-conciliar reforms.)

This resource sounds just fantastic. Looking into it...
(I think you know this, we look into all of the requests but don't always comment. I just had to comment on this one...)

It's here and it's not cheap (because it's the republished by Ignatius version)! I think I'll have to wait for a base package inclusion, but it'll look nice on my wishlist once it gets out of Pre-Pub. :-P

I was happy to come across it yesterday. Not sure why I didn't see before then. Anyway, I've pre-ordered.
