Books on preaching by Richard Eslinger
I came upon this author as one of his books was required reading for a preaching class that a friend of mine is taking. Looks like these would all be good to have in Logos. Wasn't sure which forum these suggestions belonged in, but he teaches at a United Methodist seminary, so perhaps Methodist & Wesleyan makes sense, but then Abingdon is associated with Lutheranism in my mind, so maybe this forum would be better. It seems to get more attention at least. Anyway, they are surely of more broad interest than either denomination.

Richard L. Eslinger | A New Hearing: Living Options in Homiletic Method | Abingdon | 1987 |
Richard L. Eslinger | The Web of Preaching: New Options In Homiletic Method | Abingdon | 2002 |

Abingdon is Methodist-affiliated. Augsburg Fortress is ELCA.

Unlike Augsburg Fortress (which is the one associated with Lutheranism), Abingdon seems to like it much more on Vyrso.com than on Logos and puts quite a number of books out there. Such as https://vyrso.com/product/39414/the-web-of-preaching-new-options-in-homiletic-method

Thanks! Maybe I should have put this on the Vyrso forum.

I see this thread has been moved - so maybe Brian will take note and bring on the other preaching books from Richard Eislinger.
For me, looking through Abingdon's offerigs here has started to become expensive (did you see they carry works from Brueggeman, Hauerwas and even Neusner? - this is an excercise in withstanding temptation)
