BUG: Vyrso.com doesn't recognize that I own this book
I've found a book that I bought from Vyrso and own in my Library but which Vyrso.com doesn't think I own. I think this is because the SKU has changed. If this is a systemic problem, it needs to be rectified, so that users don't accidentally buy again books that they've already bought. Books should never change SKUs (unless it's a new edition) without there being some internal connection between the old one and the new so that the website can still track whether we own the books.
Vyrso.com thinks I don't own it. The "Add to cart" button is enabled.
But I bought it on May 6, 2014:
Interestingly, it is not an active link, whereas the other book I bought that day is. But I happen to know what the old link to that version of the book was, because I'd added it to an Amazon.com wishlist at the time I first found it, before I bought it. The link was:
But if you try to go to that link now, it says "We're sorry! Through a Screen Darkly: Looking Closer at Beauty, Truth and Evil in the Movies is not available on this site."
But that is not true. It is of course available, but it has a different SKU number now:
Why did the SKU change? Is it a new edition of the book?

The SKU changed because Gospel Light, the former publisher of this ebook, was acquired by Baker. Therefore, we were required to create new ebook SKUs for all of Baker's "new" ebooks. I'm discussing options with our team, we apologize for any confusion this may have caused!

Change the SKU, but at least put a note up like "previously sold under ..." if tracking proves difficult.

I think there have been other instances where SKUs have changed and there's been a "forwarding" set up from the old SKU page to the new one, and also the system has been able to handle internally that when users owned the book under the old SKU they still own the book under the new SKU.

This happens with other books as well. It's even possible to purchase and own them multiple times.
Jan, your example are books that switched from Vyrso to Logos editions. While it's possible to have bought both, I assume you (and probably everyone who owns both copies) received the Logos edition for free.
Have joy in the Lord!

That explanation makes sense. I can't remember whether I got the books free, but there's a good chance for it.
Here are some more examples of double books:

Jan, you can check on these duplicates to see whether one is a Vyrso ebook and the other is a Logos edition by looking in the info panel in the Library. I happen to also have Forgotten God (both copies of it), so I can show you:
It would be nice if Logos provided an easy way to transfer our ratings and tags over from a Vyrso book to the new Logos edition of same. Currently you have to do it all manually, each tag one by one. You can't even copy and paste them all anymore like you used to be able to in the old tags editor. The new tags editor treats them all as individual buttons, and they can't all be selected together as plain text separated by semi-colons as before.
You can hide the eBook versions of these (once you copy over any tagging and ratings you've applied to them to the Logos edition). Hold down the Ctrl key (or Cmd on Mac), right-click on that resource in your library, and choose "Hide this resource". Then next time you restart Logos, the redundant eBook will no longer appear in your library.

There have been instances where we have forwarded an old SKU page to a new SKU page, that could be something we feasibly set-up in the future. However, I'm not aware of an instance that we've allowed users who own an old SKU—that has changed ISBNs and publishers—to own the new SKU. To my knowledge, we've only updated user's accounts when the ebook's ISBN and publisher have not changed. If there is an instance that comes to mind feel free to reference it and I'll look into a solution with our team.

I guess that was what I was thinking of.

This also occurs with the NET Bible. I've had that for years, but it still shows up not grayed on the Logos site.
