Background slide size changes and linking videos and music to songs in lyric database

I am looking to move to Proclaim from Mediashout and testing out the program.

1. I need to know whether background slides for song lyrics can be changed to full screen as the presentation just looks bad.

2. We also sometimes use YouTube videos. Is there anyway the YouTube Clip can be attached to the song lyric database so I don't need to look in 2 places from songs - song lyrics and videos? Like wise is it possible to link iTunes files to the song lyric so that I don't need to join them up with each presentation?

Welcome to Proclaim and to the Forums. And New Year's Greetings if it isn't too late.

No! Not directly. Proclaim will not resize images that are not in the correct proportions for display. You need to use your photo-editing program to get them into either the 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio used for projection. This is one minor reason that I eschew pictorial backgrounds for songs. The main reason is that I want people to be focussing on the words not on the pretty picture behind it.

When I add a video background to a song (which for reasons above I rarely do) it remains attached to that song if I put it in another presentation using the 'Reuse Item' option.

Like wise is it possible to link iTunes files to the song lyric so that I don't need to join them up with each presentation?

Because we are still waiting for direct addition of iTunes files I keep a separate folder of MP3 files for use with Proclaim. (or have I missed something?).

Once I have added a song, and attached an MP3 to it, and sync it to the servers, whenever I use 'reuse item' the MP3 remains attached.
