Proclaim Crashing

Hello! Our church is experiencing horrible issues with proclaim. We have a very good and nearly new computer with 16gigs of Ram, yet Proclaim crashes every week. During the service today it crashed nearly 10 times. We have no viruses, nor any other programs running while proclaim is in use. Our internet at the church is sometimes messed up, but all of our songs/backgrounds are set as local to the computer and are not part of the online media. I've had people look at the computer, and there is nothing wrong with it. Has anyone else experienced issues like this? The program is up to date. I cannot figure out what the problem could be. Any input could help at this point. Thanks.

    Hi William,

I'm sorry for the instability you've encountered, that definitely should not be happening.  Could you post your Proclaim log file to help us track down the source of the crashes?  Follow the instructions here:

Are you on Windows? Does your presentation include videos or motion backgrounds? There are issues with some Windows video drivers that cause the application to leak memory and eventually crash. If you are certain your video drivers are up to date you can try the workaround posted here - https://community.logos.com/forums/t/91925.aspx

  • Ooo that may be the problem! We are using Windows and we use motions backgrounds. I'll see if there are any driver updates, and then I'll try what you said! If it still messes up I'll copy the log files. Thanks for the help guys!
