Video Card Requirements

I’m in the process of finding the best software to use for our church. We currently use Easy Worship but I came across your Proclaim software.  I have a question. I see the system requirements is not that much but It does not specify what video card to use.  (256MB DirectX 9 graphics device 256MB DirectX 9 graphics device) is what you ask for.

Can you be more specific?  I’m building a PC to replace the current video PC and I’m looking at video cards.  I have a dual monitor in the sound booth, A confidence monitor (Not installed yet) and a HDMI to the projector.

Does your software run on USB style video cards dongles for say a third monitor or does it need a Nvidia 660 to run?

Also if I were to use a mac how would I go about using this software with needing three video outs?

Total video outs needed:  Projector – HDMI,  One computer monitor – HDMI, and one confidence monitor – HDMI.

Also the ability to customise what is being projected. Like setting screen margins. Ideally to be able to adjust them per output.

Thank you in advance.

Running it on USB style video cards is not a great idea as the Proclaim app is a UI intensive program, so it might run slower than expected. I would suggest anything. Any decent video card released in the last few years should run Proclaim well, so the Nvidia 660 should be more than enough.

To do this, you would just want to connect your Mac to another output using a converter if need be.
