Hi - please could you help us to get your software/online service to run for my local church Holy Trinity Hurdsfield (www.hthmacc.com) ?
Proclaim will not run with ordinary admin user privileges on Windows 7 SP1, but it does update and then run if logged in as the (normally hidden) local Administrator user (account has to be 'turned on' using command prompt in Windows to be able to see/use and logon to it). All other programs + web access + connectivity to external sites is functioning normally. Launching the program "as Administrator" doesn't help, neither does setting the program to "Run as Administrator" (in the properties dialogue of the shortcut).
I note that the application is unusually located in the local user appdata area, in this case:
C:\Users\Office\AppData\Local\Proclaim\System\Proclaim.exe.
This is problem has developed in the last 2 or 3 days. Proclaim was working and updating normally until then.
As far as we know no other applications have been installed recently. The computer has been thoroughly scanned for malware and is clean. The Windows OS in this case is fully up to date.
Thanks in anticipation of your help
Paul Truswell (on behalf of Holy Trinity Hurdsfield, Macclesfield, England).
