Author info is about the person who wrote the *foreword* not the actual author
As you can see from the cover image, Norman Geisler merely wrote the foreword to this book; he's not the main author, and yet the Author Information describes him at great length without mentioning the actual author, Dave Sterrett, at all.

Good catch, Rosie. I've seen this on more than one resource page on Vyrso. The "Author Information" section occasionally describes a famous figure who wrote the forward, but did not write the book. This can be confusing, because one would expect the "Author Information" section to be about the author of the book, rather than the writer of the foreword.

Yeah, it's a great way to sell books. Get people to think they are buying a book by that famous author. I'm guessing this info comes from the publisher and Faithlife is just reproducing it here. But it would be good if they could do a bit more homework on it, and communicate with the publisher if there is missing information coming from them.

Thanks for the bug report Rosie. We appreciate it.
It looks like the resource metadata got updated yesterday, I'll be following up on what's happening during the publisher to conversion process.

Thanks, Kyle.
Here's another one that seems to have lost part of the Author Info in the publisher to conversion process:
https://vyrso.com/product/23557/when-your-rope-breaks
The Author Info only describes one of the authors, Joni Eareckson Tada, the last of the three; but on Amazon.com this book's description lists the bios of all three authors. Something is amiss with the Vyrso process.

Hi Rosie,
Thanks for pointing out the problem in the process, we're working on improving our author database and tracking down errors in the system. We're working on adding more information on the authors of When Your Rope Breaks and should have a fix implemented soon. We appreciate your patience and help in the process!
Brian
