Proclaim will not update

I cannot update Proclaim, "Setup was unable to download a required field" window appears. Proclaim use to let me use old version but now update is my only choice and I am unable to.

Interesting. Have you tried a fresh install? If not, try uninstalling both Proclaim and Proclaim prerequisites, downloading a new setup file and installing. See if that helps.

I uninstalled both then went to download proclaim and I get the same alert. Now I have nothing.

Thanks for the log. Our installer guy is looking into it right now. I'll get back to you shortly.

What gave you the hint that this was the issue? The error code from the setup log indicates this is indeed the issue. There is a tool called BITSAdmin that should be available in PowerShell if you run as admin. From there you can list all the jobs and see what is piling up.
> bitsadmin /list /allusers
at this point you can clear the hanging jobs or take the appropriate action. Interested to hear what you find.

I am having no success

I found the list but how do I clear them?

Were you able to run the BITSAdmin command? You can call Logos customer service and they should be able to walk you through the steps. Proclaim uses the same installer technology as Logos desktop so they should be familiar technology.

You can use a command like the following to reset all jobs but I'd be interested what they were first as it will potentially affect other applications.
> bitsadmin /Reset /AllUsers

Yes, thank you. I called in and someone helped me reset all those bits jobs. Proclaim is now re-installed and I am already working on tomorrows service. Very big thank you!

I just had the same issue (Windows 8). Thankfully a reboot has solved it...
