Using Reftagger for Squarespace 7

Hello,
I am wanting to use Reftagger on my website if possible www.drivennails.com I have read some older posts about using Squarespace for verse of the day, but I could not find any updated posts about using Reftagger with Squarespace 7. When I get into the "code injection" part I am over my head. I know how to select the NASB and copy the code from http://reftagger.com/customize/ but I am not quite sure where to paste the code as there is a header box, a footer box, a lock page box, and an "order confirmation page" box. Not sure what to do or if Reftagger will work with what I want. I would like to have all bible verses hyperlinked to pop up NASB text when hovered over. Any help would be appreciated.
Here is a jing video I have uploaded if you want to watch it and see what I am trying to do http://screencast.com/t/gCQtw5PST

For performance reasons, I would personally place it in the footer box. Only use the header box if footer doesn't work.
This is my personal Faithlife account. On 1 March 2022, I started working for Faithlife, and have a new 'official' user account. Posts on this account shouldn't be taken as official Faithlife views!

Okay I figured out how to use Reftagger in Squarespace 7! It is amazing! Here are the steps you take and what to do:
1. Got to http://reftagger.com/customize/ and customize what you want your bible verse popups to look like. As you select formatting features you can see the example at the top change. Select the bible version you want, etc., so everything looks like you want it.
2. Then select "copy" which copies the code to your clipboard.
3. Go to your Squarespace 7 website. If you aren't in editing mode hit the escape key, log in, and then select "settings" from the left side bar menu.
4. Then select "Advanced" from the bottom of the same sidebar menu.
5. Then select "code injection" from the side bar menu. You will see several boxes, one for header, footer, lock page, and order confirmation page. Paste the code into the footer box.
6. Then select "save" at the top and go back to your home page. All Bible Verses should be hyperlinked to create a popup with the biblical text and link to Biblia or Faithlife, whatever you selected.
way cool!

Hi all!
I've interjected the code as outlined above. I had this working in Squarespace 6 but can't for love or money get it to work on my blog in Squarespace 7. Is anyone else having persistent problems getting this to work? I wonder if working on a blog page changes anything? I've tried interjecting the code into the blog header, but no joy. Here is the URL if looking helps:

Hey Jack,
I have followed your steps, but it only works with you go to the webpage and then refresh it. the first time you go to the page it is not working any advice?

Matt,
I wish I knew what to tell you. If you noticed the date on my post, it was a LONG TIME AGO! I only did it once, listed my steps, and then posted it for others. To be truthful, I forgot all about it! I see that some have found it useful, but Squarespace does regularly change things. I would try sending a "Help Ticket" to Squarespace, include the steps I listed, and ask them why yours isn't working. They usually offer great help. Sorry I can't give you more.
Grace and peace,
Jack

Hello Jack, thank you for your input. I tried doing what you wrote on this forum, but it seems this only works with the premium feature on Squarespace. Is there any other way to it?

Sorry, I set mine up as I explained a while back and it worked great. Not sure what to tell you.
