Is it safe to upgrade to Yosemite on my MacBook Pro?

The last time I upgraded my Macbook Pro I couldn't run Proclaim for two weeks. I need to upgrade to Yosemite, but I want to know if it is safe before I do it. Have you had any problems with Apple's after they went from Maverick to Yosemite?

I'm not a Proclaim user.
There are some minor problems a few people are having with wi-fi dropping, that Apple is still trying to correct. Beyond that, I haven't had any issues at all.

Not a proclaim user here either... there was some downloading issues with faithlife programs in early 6 versions but it is fixed now.... I had no issues with 10.10... 10.10.1 fixed many peoples issues and I am told 10.10.2 will be released any day now. I cannot promise a 100% issue free upgrade but i think you will be ok if my experience is anything to go by.

Running both 10.10.1 and 10.10.2 (in beta) neither have problems with Proclaim (or for that matter any other program).

As far as I am aware the only lingering problem on the platform involves Hebrew text scrolling in Logos and video glitch in Proclaim that will be fixed much later today.

Neither of these are related to Yosemite directly. Most problems with Faithlife products are due to trying to run Windows and OS 10 off the same code.
