Adding Word Lists to Logos 6
Hello All,
Anyone know how to add one of these vocabulary lists (Spec. Futato) to logos 6?
Comments
- Download the word lists you are interested in from http://www.logos.com/training/vocabularylists
- Go to your "Documents" or "My Documents" folder in Windows. Create a subfolder called "Libronix DLS". Notice the space. Then, inside the folder "Libronix DLS", create a subfolder called "VocabularyLists". Notice there is no space.
- Copy the word lists files you downloaded into the "VocabularyLists" folder.
- Type the command "Import Word Lists" into the Logos 4.6 command line and hit Enter. Logos will import the vocabulary lists.

The instructions Fr. Devin Roza wrote up for L4.6 still are correct:
I just tested this with the latest L6 beta.
Should you run L6 on a Mac, it seems instead of step 2 you need to create ~/Libronix DLS/WordLists and make sure the Mac OS doesn't change the file extension. These are from their internal format XML-files, but Logos knows them from L3 days with the .lbxvl extension, And good luck!

They're "correct", but they're not the best way to do this. Join the Faithlife Group that I mentioned above.

Definitely. Getting such documents via the group is much more easy.

Join the "Introductory Grammar Vocabulary Lists" Faithlife group (https://faithlife.com/introductory-grammar-vocabulary-lists/) instead, then you can download Logos 6 word lists from the group web page or by using the Groups Tools inside Logos 6 itself.
