How do I get Proclaim to accept a remote (like a Logitech) to move slides?

As I understand it these remotes simply replicate key presses on the OS of choice.
Most are plug and play but some to need you to install software to recognise the clicks.
It might help if you let us know what OS you are using and the platform you are running it on.
It must be possible - because many are using similar systems.
