I received an email about the new note feature in Logos and am wondering where that will be available in my Logos. Thanks!
I haven't been following the development of the notes system. It's been available at app.logos.com for some time. Perhaps you've seen it.
I don't know what may have already been said, but on app.logos.com, it is the only notes system, so that's what I'd think would happen when FL puts it into Logos. It will be the new notes system and the old one will go away. Unless someone has more information on this, we'll have to wait and see.
The version on app.logos.com is pretty cool. Different, so there's some learning, but quite powerful.
am wondering where that will be available in my Logos
Do you mean "when"?
There is a beta program. To join, you have to become a member of a special "faithlife" group on Faithlife.com. Did you ever join that?
The email yesterday said to use the Web App at app.logos.com to try out the new system but yes, there has been a beta going on for about a year.
Currently notes are under documents; the new Notes system is under tools. Tools | Library | Notes

For some reason, I do not have a note feature under my tools and Library.
You won't unless you join the Faithlife group for beta testing notes. See what JT said above.
If you don't want to join the beta group, you can see what the new notes tool is like on app.logos.com.

But no indication when it will be available for everyone?
No. It's still in beta testing so FL won't announce it until that testing is finished, whenever that is. For an advance look at the tool you can go to the app.
Correct, right now they are saying to go to app.logos.com to test it out if you aren't already in the beta group.
They are currently saying 'early 2019' it will be available to everyone.
There is also a new Logos Notes Forum that has been started. https://community.logos.com/forums/148.aspx which I am sure will be helpful as things advance.
I have just started looking at the non-Beta tool and, as an extensive user of Notes, am excited at what I am seeing so far. (I guess that begs the question, 'what is an extensive user?' Maybe we can find out since the new tool lists the number of Notes!)
Blessings!
