Finding page number for footnote?
I am using a commentary and need to find the page number to reference in my foot note. I can't figure out how to find the page number. Can someone please enlighten me? Thanks!

Page numbers, if available in a given resource, are shown as a "visual filter." Click on the visual filter menu (three circles icon) and look for the page number box to check.

Hi Karen, welcome to the forums. There's a few things that could be going on here. Are you on the desktop Logos or the mobile? I will assume you are on the desktop:
First, the book you are using might not have page numbers at all. You will have to find another way to cite those.
However, most commentaries will have page numbers. Have you tried copying and pasting a portion from the book? The citation will appear as a footnote or beneath the pasted text. You may have to adjust "Copy Footnotes as" settings in the Program Settings:
Finally, there is a way to see what page you are on when reading, it will be in the box in the upper left of the resource panel. But with commentaries they will often show the verse reference instead of the page number. If you Option-Click or Alt-Click the box you will get a drop-down menu that shows that page number.
Let us know if this helps.

Unfortunately, the page numbers are not copied along. Is there a way to include the page number (if the resource has page numbers), when you copy and paste passages from that resource?

I was able to find the page number by checking the "page number" box in the visual filter. Then, I just added it at the end of the citation provided.

In Program Settings, I have "Copy Footnotes as:" set to "Text."
I also have the "Show Page Numbers" in the visual filters turned on.
This is what I get when I copy and paste from a resource into Pages:
What are you getting? What are your settings?

Ah, found out that the Harvard Citation Style doesn't include the page numbers.
Other Citation Styles do.Thanks!
