Faithlife just commented on their Facebook live stream that it will take a while for the emails to go out. I'm sure they are sending them out in batches, as most large email campaigns do.
Logos 8 loaded about 3 MBps, and the ordered resources loaded about 200 MBps
Nice to get this. The drop down menus are nicer than before. I only wish they could have added the ability to have a Favorites drop down menu.

Received this free upgrade. Does this mean we were upgraded to the full feature set for free? When I go to the website, it is showing that the full feature set contains items I don't own but in Logos desktop software it does appear I have these items.
You get access to the full feature set as a subscriber, but it is not a purchase (ownership) of the features. The product pages won't show features you subscribe to as owned, but as new to you.
The desktop software will show that you have (temporary) access to the L8 datasets, features, and tools, for as long as you continue your subscription.

I purchased it before buying an upgrade and didn't lose my discount.

Unfortunately, it does not say "first-time" discount. My cart has the "on sale today".

1) does getting the 'free update' mix up any "first-time" discount as others have suggested.. I have done the free update and now concerned about pricing.
2) I have faith life-connect essentials (no library) $99/year thing.. If I keep paying the $99, is there any reason to get the full features upgrade?

I also did the "free update." I still see "Logos 8 first time-upgrade discount for Connect subscribers" when I add an item to my cart.
