You can start using the new features before anyone else. Sign in to get the new features to your account. You’ll be asked to check out, but there will be no charge to you.
A Big Change to Notes
As a Faithlife Connect subscriber, ordinarily you’d get a major update like this automatically. However, there are big changes to the Notes tool in this release, so we’re giving you a chance to opt in to see the improvements we’ve made.
We think you’ll agree with one Logos 8 beta tester who said, “I love the new notes system—it is faster, allows you to quickly find and organize your notes, and it's all around more powerful.”
On November 5, we’ll migrate all Connect subscribers to the new Logos 8 features.

Hi Jake,
I removed the Mobile ed course from my cart by mistake, which was added by clicking Sign in in your post. I am trying to add it to the cart again by clicking it to no avail. Am I missing something? Would you help me out?

I didn't see the Mobile Ed course. Now I'm curious if I deleted it by mistake also.

When I click your link (I am already signed in) it just takes me to an empty shopping Cart?

When you say you are having issues and somehow removed a Mobile Ed course. Are you saying...
a. you selected it > went to cart > deleted it?
b. you did "a" and now the problem is you can't re-add it?
c. Adding a course is not working for you?

Hi Jake,
I removed all other stuff from the cart execpt the Logos 8 because I thought the other stuff was a mistake.
I read now in these forums that this was by purpose. When I click on the link in the mail it now shows me the order info.
Is it somehow possible to correct this for me.

For anyone that is having the following problems:
1. Your card isn't working.
2. You accidentally emptied your cart and would like to still receive the early access to Logos 8 features.
3. You followed the instructions and still cannot get access to the early features or courses.
Please do the following:

I clicked on the link on my email and was taken to my shopping cart and was faced with a charge of $3,000 for the upgrade.
I did NOT click this - I am on my spare credit card that has a limit of £1,500!!
Then I got an email stating that the email was a mistake and giving me a $25 credit.
I checked my Faithlife Connect Essentials - No library (formerly Logos Now) account which confirmed that my account was still valid and paid up.
As the paid full features upgrade for me is only $131.36 what is going on?????0 -

I ran into same thing at first, then realized I was not actually logged into my Logos/Faithlife account in my browser. When I logged in, suddenly the $3000 changed to $0.00. I completed the transaction and had my update within a couple minutes. YMMV!

I tried 3 or 4 times not thinking about that as my browser is always signed in to Logos. After your message I clicked again and it was not $0.00 as you said.Go figure!!

I am missing something; I have L7 Diamond and am a legacy Logos Now / FL Essentials subscriber.
I tried the link you gave, but it took me to an empty shopping cart.
My W10 L7 application says there are no updates when I "Update Now". Should I be seeing a download for the L8 client, or can I only use the L8 features via Logos Cloud?
Quite confused, despite reading the blog, forum, and chatting with a sales rep.

You can't update from within L7.
You should have received an email yesterday from Logos/Faithlife with the title "Good News! Logos 8 features have been added to your Faithlife Connect account". There is a link on that email that will get you started on L8. Could you check to see if you have it or if it got caught in your SPAM filter?
If you don't have or can't find the email, others are having the problem you are, so someone from Faithlife will have to see if they can help you directly.
Take a look at Jake's post at the top of this page for an email you can also reach out to.
On November 5 all Connect members will be transitioned to L8, so if nothing else happens, you'll have L8 by Monday.

If that isn't the problem, Jake suggested support@faithlife.com as an option.
(There are a number of others who have experienced the same thing, posting on different threads. I think through earlier today, FL had taken care of all of them.)

You are not the only one. For some reason it thinks that you are not logged in with your logos ID
Mine shifted by itself but if you can try logging in from the shopping basket it will change to $0.00

if you have bought it for 0.00 now then try putting update now in the command box on your logos. With mine it found that I was lacking an upgrade and upgraded me.

Signing in from the cart didn't work either. It still shows $3000. I guess I have to wait until the email.

If you have an active Connect subscription, you should now be able to get the update SKU for free. Please let me know if you continue to have any issues.
