Suggestions for Mobile App Layouts
I just installed the Logos 8 Mobile App on my devices. I am loving it, especially the new layouts feature. I no longer need to have the Logos app (for my Bible study) and the Faithlife ebooks app (for my book reading) installed! I can have a layout for Bible study and a layout for book reading instead. Nice.
Is there, or is there planned, a shortcut for updating a layout? Right now, it's kind of a process to update the current layout. It would be nice if all you had to do was tap the vertical three dots menu (for example) and then tap "Update current layout."
Edit: see my post below for more suggestions.

I just installed in on my devices too. I love that they are launching all the platforms on the same day.
I'm not sure what is planned for the future but what you suggest makes sense.
Using adventure and community to challenge young people to continually say "yes" to God

Have you seen that you can swipe the desired layout to the right and press "update"? Works on iOS, anyway.

Right...I am looking for a quicker shortcut, that's all. 1 or 2 taps versus 4. No big deal.

Yes! I love that also. And that they're all named Logos 8.

I am loving the new layouts feature. I now have a devotions layout, a sermon commentary reading layout, and an other reading layout. It’s great to be able to save my positions in my books without having to have an individual favorite for each one.
I would love to see, as I suggested above, a quicker way of updating the current layout, as we have on the desktop. It could be as simple as a long-press on the layout button.
Also, it would be great to sync layouts between mobile devices. That way I could pick up my reading on a different device simply by loading a saved layout.
Finally, how about a close layout button, like we have on the desktop? It would make building a new layout easier.
Again, I am so glad layouts have finally come to the mobile app. Good job mobile team!

Hi,
Not sure how you are seeing layouts in mobile.
I have layouts in my desktop and I do not see them in my mobile.
Can you please let me know how did you get them to mobile? That would be wonderful.

Hi VJ, welcome to the forums.
The layouts on the Desktop version are different from the layouts on the Mobile apps. You will not see your Desktop layouts on the Mobile devices.
To access the Mobile layouts, tap the "tab" icon in the center of the bottom toolbar. That brings up the tabs screen.
Then tap the layout icon in the left bottom of the tabs screen. That brings you to the layouts screen where you can save, open, update, and delete layouts.
Hope this helps.
