Gold vs Platinum?
Hi all,
Anyone have any insights into things you can do with Platinum that you can't with Gold?
Thanks,
Bill

The difference between Gold and Platinum will be in the resources (books) that are included

Hi Bill,
The features in Platinum and Gold are the same (in fact everything from Silver or above has the same features). But Platinum has many more resources - so the same features will generate more links to dictionaries/commentaries/etc. in Platinum.

Question is, 'Is there an activity I can do with the Platinum and I can't do, or do as effectively, with the Gold edition''

I saw something on the Logos site that implied you could do sermon starters on Platinum, but wasn't listed in the Gold edition.

Other that potentially more links to commentaries is there any functionality that Platinum might have, possible in Greek or Hebrew word studies?

The only activity you can do with Platinum over Gold is use more books/resources.

Features are the same for both. I was going back and forth between the two and ultimately chose Gold because I didn't necessarily need all of the extra resources in Platinum.

The Sermon Starter Guide has been in Logos for some time. It's available with all base packages from Bronze, upwards (although there'll be many more links from the Guide with higher packages).

Platinum will link to more Greek/Hebrew lexicons, but the functionality for Greek/Hebrew word study will be otherwise identical.

Yes: use the books that aren't in Gold in any way whatsoever.

Did it also have the Expository Sermon Prep Workflow and Sermon Editor?

Hi William,
I usually do a comparison of the two libraries and then go resource by resource to determine those that are really important to me in the larger package and determine if the price difference warrants the benefit.

Hi John, I do the same and then look at possible enhanced functionality.
Blessings,
