So according to the Youtube Promotional Video

We can choose from ANY Mobile Ed without any limitation.

But that's not what's happening. We are limited in our choices in what we can choose.

Ex: I tried the coupon on Mobile Ed: BI304 Women in the Biblical World: OT

and the coupon doesn't work!

The course needs to be under $300- this is from the price point in base packages.

This would be consistent with what the base package descriptions (from Silver up or so, all except Verbum) said "Choose any course". This also came up in the Live broadcast this morning - don't know if your link goes there - and I think the wording was carefully chosen to say "any individual course" (as opposed to course bundles such as the 'biblical languages certificate' or so).

I fully believe Faithlife to not intentionally make false claims on such a very substantial new offering in the Logos 8 base packages. What we all have seen is the past are tagging issues and minor technical glitches. So I fully believe that there's a possibility that one in several hundred courses is tagged wrongly as a bundle, or as not yet live, or something else that makes the code not working.

Most probably your best way of action would be to call Faithlife (or see whether someone monitors this forum and answers directly) and let them fix this for you.

Let's not be quick to call FL liars. What is the full quote on the video? Did she say any course in the Faithlife Store?  Because when you purchase the library it sends you an email and gives you a very specific list of courses that you can choose from. You CAN choose ANY course from that list that you want to enjoy and download them to your library.

Could it have been worded differently? Sure. But I wouldn't say they lied.

Hi Mike, please try to redeem BI304 now. There may have been an error with the way the discount was configured for this course.

When I purchased this morning, the list was 205 courses to choose from.

That's not how I understand the written and spoken explanation. They referred to "any course" everytime, not to "any up to $300". Moreover, in the video, the example of Moo's Romans course was used, which is $380. The price point probably is only an average to have a number for the dynamic price calculation engine.

    (3) Note: the only mobile ed products that are not included are bundles, certificates, and audio courses.

We here at Logos Mobile Education are so delighted to be able to offer this new program to our L8 customers. We hope this new ability to customize your Logos library with a course of your choice supports you in your life-long pursuit of studying the Bible!

Not correct. I used the free course code to purchase a course for $400. I suspect it's just some behind the scenes setting that needs to be changed on that particular course.

Thanks for catching this! Both BI304 and BI306 should now be included in the search parameters you've mentioned above.
