A friend has Logos and needs a book which I would like to give to him. However, since I already own the book, Logos will not allow me to repurchase it. How can I get around this safety net feature? :-)
Probably best to give Faithlife a call. They should be able to help you.

You need to purchase it in a way that links it to his account.
The best way is to contact sales and ask them to handle this for you.
You're probably right, but I am not the most patient person. I'm in Eastern Europe and everyone at Logos is asleep right now! I don't blame them after the huge day they had rolling out Logos 8 yesterday. Some of the folks there stayed up all night getting ready!
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll just have to practice patience . . . I wonder if anyone will be awake in WA in about 10 minutes? :-)
Well, I should see him later today so maybe we can just purchase the book with my card on his account. I thought that there was a way that a person could support a student from their account, but maybe I misunderstood.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Gifting books is really easy as long as you know the email address used by the recipient before you call Logos support.
I would advise against purchasing the book within their account while using your card. I believe that that will leave your card tied to their account. This could cause confusion when they make later purchases.
Thanks David. You are right about leaving my card tied to my friends account, so we used PayPal. It's not possible to use PayPal without a password but Logos does offer the option of PayPal.
