Bug: Sermon Editor changes position in document when hovering cursor over the scroll bar
Using Logos 8.0 on Windows 10 I noticed that I was frequently losing my place in a Sermon Document as I checked other resources.
It seems that it changes position if I hover my cursor over the scroll bar - even if I don't touch it
The screencast at https://www.screencast.com/t/fgabyS2eG demonstrates this.
I seem to remember this being a problem before but thought it had been resolved.

We are not aware of any change in this area to L8 and we are unable to reproduce the problem. [:(]

This was happening in L7. I reported it several months ago (I think Philana was aware).

Yes
Richard and I were discussing it with Philana in 7.17 - details at https://community.logos.com/forums/p/171087/988301.aspx

Yes, and we couldn't repro it then either.

I just started having this problem in Logos 9.1.0.0018. I have enjoyed the sermon editor until today and now for some reason its just flaking out. I did cut and paste a sermon from Word into the editor, could something in that action be causing this? I turned off the showing of the slides thinking that might be something, this made no change. I'm hoping this is isolated to this one sermon, or it renders the feature useless.
Update: So I selected the entire sermon, and pasted it back in using Ctrl-Shift-V (which strips out all formatting), and have just reformatted again, and I have stopped experiencing the problem.

Sorry to hear this
There were two issues that I am aware of causing this behaviour - and I thought they had both been fixed.
One only occurred if the sermon builder was set to use non-default scaling - i.e. if the slider (outlined in blue below) was not at the default position (outlined in red). Please check if that is the case for you and, if so, see if the problem persists when you align them.
The other happened was when there was a very large paragraph which couldn't completely fit on the screen.
As I say, I thought these had both been fixed but it would be good to know if either if these conditions apply in your case.

Sometimes it opens the panel to the left (as it’s always been the case) and sometimes it opens the panel to the right. I prefer to the left and my Bible to the right. But maybe it’s a bug because it’s never done that before. When I click on open sermon editor/builder it has always opened to the left 👍😁👌
