So where is the list of available Mobile Ed courses with that coupon? I thoght that it could be anyone
When I purchased the upgrade, I got an email. In that email, it said this further down.
Pick out your Mobile Ed course included with Logos 8
Your first purchase of Logos 8 Silver or above includes an interactive video course of your choice. Visit this page to pick out your course now.
I went to that page and it listed "featured courses" or if you wanted to, it then said "or choose one from the complete list of Mobile Ed courses." I went to the complete list, looked at all of them, and then added to the cart the one I wanted. BE SURE you include the COUPON CODE that is listed there. Once I did that, the course was free! It was a very nice addition!
Did you have to pay the difference if it was over $300? The base package says you choose the course and at the price it states it’s $300 I see some courses are over $300

They have said on other forums that the answer is NO.

No, there is no additional cost. The "$300" is simply an estimated value for that item that is only used to determine the base package's "Total value if sold separately."
Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

Has anyone bought two base packages? I'm curious if the $300 course is limited to one purchase, or if you get it per base package you buy.

One course, no matter how many base packages you buy.

I suppose that purchasing two silver packages, unbundled (I mean, with different receipts) would lead to two mobile Ed courses. Am I right?
What is the price increasement of any package after having made the first, discounted, purchase?
Maybe it would be a good idea to make different purchases to take benefit of several mobile ed courses, even if it is more expensive.

It's one Mobile Ed course per user, regardless of how many base packages you buy.

The key element really is that the one off 30% discount for the first upgrade is really very good, perhaps even unprecedented that makes holding off from buying during launch a very expensive tactic unless you either really never intend upgrading or you really cannot afford it.

When Logos 8 is introduced, we will be offering a special "first Logos 8 upgrade" discount which will much more than offset any savings that could be found by purchasing more highly discounted packages before others. To get maximum benefit from this "first Logos 8 upgrade" discount, you'll want to make your biggest purchase first.
For anyone on the fence (whether buying low & upgrading is less expensive than buying it all at once), I asked sales to figure it up both ways, committing before I started to the highest package I was going to buy. My sales rep did so. He had an associate double check.
The absolute LEAST expensive route to an L8 level is to buy it all up front, just as Glenn is telling us. The ONE-TIME savings up front is much higher.
Blessings on your decisions...
Grace & Peace,
Bill

Isn't it 25%?
That's what it says for the spanish packages:

It's one Mobile Ed course per user, regardless of how many base packages you buy.
But purchasing in different days leads to different recepits, right? I've asked at the sales chat and they say one receives as many Mobile Eds as packages (bought in the future).[^o)]

25% for everyone, but Faithlife Connect subscribers get an extra 5% discount.

Definitely one per Faithlife account. Sorry for the incorrect information!
FYI, it's a coupon code that you redeem for the Mobile Ed course, and like many coupon codes, it's one use only.

Oh really? Then it is worth to join Connect (at least for a trial) before purchasing packages!

Manuel,
I recall that the additional 5% is for FL Connect members that were members at a certain date. You may want to ask about this before joining FL Connect for the 5% discount and be disappointed.
I recall reading something, but then I don't always recall correctly.

The base package cost will always be a fraction of the pre pub price, so buy the package including the pre pub then either cancel the pre pub or indeed just leave it and it will automatically cancel. If you cancel the pre pub before buying the package then this is not a problem unless it gets dropped from the package before buying.
You will be saving real money here, libraries are super cheap compared to even pre pub or community pricing.
This is important now since there are a few items that close on CP in a couple weeks that are included in base packages. If I wait to buy a base package AFTER bidding closes (and keep my bid active and I "win" the bid), I'll pay whatever the bid price is which, I suspect will be more than what it will be if I wait for its being included in the package.

One Mobile Ed not because of the receipts, but because of dynamic pricing. Let's pretend you buy Standard Platinum which includes the free course of your choice (from the list given). You get your course and done. Now having done that, if you decide to upgrade to Diamond Standard or any other Denominational Package that had the free course, you will not see it in the options, because you already cashed in on it.
Hence, it doesn't matter if you continue to upgrade to different Base Packages, you will not get another "free course" because you already "own it." It's like a resource that was included in a Standard Package, it will show as "you own this" in another denominational BP or if you click on the "new to you" option, it won't show.
So yes, only one free course regardless of how many upgrades you buy. [:D]

Wait a minute! I just noticed something...You said you bought two Silver BP's unbundled...That meants two separate Silver BP's. Was one for you and one for your wife or someone else? Because if that's the case, you should get TWO Mobile Ed Courses...One for you and one for whoever you purchased it for.
Sorry, I didn't catch that. I thought meant two separate BP's as in a Standard BP and then dynamically priced Silver BP from the denominational BP's options.
