Change location of log files in Logos 8?

It appears that Logos 8 (and perhaps my previous version 7) is storing its log files in my OneDrive documents folder rather than in my local documents folder. This means that my computer is constantly syncing when I have Logos open.

I would prefer to have a local only copy of my log file. Is there someway that I can point logos to a different location for that and other local files?

I tried to find something in the program settings or by searching the wiki but I couldn't find anything.

Thanks for any advice.

I'm not sure why it would do this, that is not the case on my installation.

There is probably some sort of Registry setting (that's what PC's have, anyway) that directs this. I suspect it was set before L8 and L8 just followed the pattern already set.

This question has never come up before to my knowledge. Someone from FL will have to give advise as there is no user control over this.

No, this is not currently configurable. See previous discussion at https://community.logos.com/forums/t/153104.aspx

I would suggest disabling logging by default. Unless you're trying to diagnose a problem for Tech Support, there's really no need to have it on (and it will slow down the program a little). (There are some error logs that can't be disabled; maybe you were referring to those.)

There is one (extreme) workaround. If you turn on Windows 10 Controlled Folder Access, Logos 8 (and all your other programs) will no longer have permission to write to "Documents", so it will store the log files under %LOCALAPPDATA%.

While we've made sure the program doesn't crash if you turn this setting on, it's not an officially supported configuration. If you ever contact tech support, for example, you'll have to remember that your log files are in a different location. It may also cause problems for other applications on your system.

Thanks. I found the javascript for disabling logging on the wiki and ran it. It's solved the issue. I'll re-enable logging if needed in the future.
