2 Feature Questions/Suggestions
Two Questions (and/or Suggestions) about Notes and Notebook features:
- Is it (or will it be) possible to sort the notebook lists by something other than notebook name? (Most recently used, etc)
- Is it (or will it be) possible to copy a note from one notebook to another? (I can figure out how to move a note by changing its notebook, but not how make a copy).

It is planned to add the ability to sort notes by reference but I haven't seen any discussion about sorting notebooks by anything other than name. Is this to have the most recently used ones at the top of the list - which I would find useful - or were you thinking of other reasons?

I haven't seen any discussions of this - in what ways would you find it useful?
Would using tags - and tagging notes with multiple tags - help you achieve what you are trying to do here?

To add to what Graham said, you can also add multiple anchors to a single note. So if you want a note to appear in more than one Bible reference, or one book, you can do that. Click the vertical three dot menu on the note panel and select "Add Anchor."
If you really want to duplicate a note, you would need to go to https://documents.logos.com/ .
Change the "All Documents" to Notebooks.
Find the Notebook that contains the note you want to duplicate.
Click the Actions button on the right side and select Duplicate from the drop-down menu. This will make a new (duplicated) Notebook with "(1)" at the end of the name.
Return to the Logos Note Tool, move the note to whatever Notebook you desire.
Delete the duplicated Notebook with "(1)" at the end of the name.

I use notebooks to organize all the notes for a particular sermon. If I'm in the middle of a sermon series, then some of the notes for one sermon will also be applicable to another sermon. And because my sermon workflow is similar from one week to the next, I need very similar notes in each document. It saves time not to have to type it all in from scratch.
So up until now, I would copy that note from last week's sermon into next week's sermon, where it could be edited as necessary.
The old notes platform wasn't perfect for this either. I would drag the note to move it from one document to another, and then hit ctrl-z which would put the note back in the first document. (The process is laid out here: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/26841/198263.aspx)
In the new format, I could copy and paste the text from one note into a new note in the new notebook. But it would be really nice just to be able to copy and paste.
I am planning to try/use the new sermon workflow, and I know that the tagging feature will be helpful, but I can still see use cases for being able to copy/duplicate notes.

Unfortunately the design of the notes system prevents this. Not sure why this choice was made but it was made a long time ago. I’d think a notebook contains notes and other types rather than a note optionally belonging to only one notebook. The only solution is to duplicate the content which isn’t ideal since changes don’t propagate.

Another solution is not to use notebooks at all. Simply add tags to your notes to mark them for a particular sermon and use the facets to filter and display only this notes for a particular sermon. Trade off is no printing nor ability to order the notes. Pay off is ther is only one note in multiple places so changes are see throughout.
