OBJECTION/SUGGESTION re: datasets - parables, Messianic prophecy, promises

Let me be blunt: for much of the history of Logos, it has been designed for the lay person to nod their heads sagely at coding they didn't understand and feel like they's spent an appropriate amount of time in Bible study without fearing they actually learned anything of importance - think discourse analysis, grammatical constructs, et. al. I'm one of those old fogeys that believes you have to be able to diagram a sentence in order to understand a sentence diagram.

Unfortunately, that dim view of Logos was to be expected because initially it was constrained to what a computer could do well. Logos started outgrowing those constraints and started genuinely encouraging real study rather than mere assent when they came out with labeled data (tags that have attributes), interactives, workflows and canvas.

However, I believe that Faithlife is taking a step backwards with datasets such as parables, prophecies and promises that don't have interactive. Why? Because it is through the interactive where you can see and compare all the entries, that you can actually learn what the attributes mean. And if you don't know what they mean, you don't understand how to use them beyond a sage head nod and parroting. The Interactives are the basis of teaching and learning even though people may quickly outgrow many of them, leading to low usage statistics.

Please continue to produce interactives or something similar for the datasets.

I'm also eager to do more to help users explore, compare, filter, and in general get a bigger-picture view of our datasets.

Datasets I can't use easily, I probably will never use at all.

Datasets I benefit from while using easily, I will--if I want--learn to use the (relatively) hard way.

I parrot a well stated persuasive argument. I vote a parables interactive be first.[Y]
