It is not simpler

Logos and Faithlife have gone once again in all the wrong directions.
Logos 8 is not simpler to use. No thought has been given to making useful functions simpler.
Browsing books on a web page is the ONLY useful thing I see.

    Logos and Faithlife have gone once again in all the wrong directions. Logos 8 is not simpler to use. No thought has been given to making useful functions simpler. Browsing books on a web page is the ONLY useful thing I see.

    A few minor things feel as if they have changed in negative ways--but really I think they are just not fully polished yet and will be fairly soon, I rue a couple sad losses from the Homepage like the Preferred Bible selection, Reading plan management and the feature-rich sidebar.  I wish more of the incredible search capability was easier to access, yet the search templates seem useful and a good direction to go. Reduced disk size of index, faster indexing, zippier starting and interface all seem like a positive direction to go for all users. The faceted filter system seems very useful and a good direction--it certainly isn't the same or worse.  The new menu system seems clearer and more useful to me.

    Actually, I like L8 a good deal better in almost every way than L7.  I think it is going a useful direction and look forward to what polish can be applied in the next few updates.

    Have you looked at the Bible browser as a replacement for a good many searches?

    Please provide example(s). What was useful in Logos 7 that is now harder to use ?

    Please elaborate what would be helpful to improve your work flow. What useful function(s) could be improved ?

    FYI: personally like Library facets plus can open more than one Library window (with different filtering in each window)
