Do layouts sync between different mobile devices?
So far, it looks to me that layouts don't sync between different mobile devices. Is this the case or am I doing something wrong?

Would be a nice feature in future.
I definitely don't want my mobile layouts to sync b/w mobile devices. If FL adds this feature, please make it opt-in / configurable.
Thanks,
Donnie

I agree with you Donnie. Since I have 3 devices with widely varying screen sizes from a Kindle HD 10 down to my iPhone 6s with an iPad Mini in between those two, I think that it would be a problem to try do the same layout with the widely varying screen size. A layout that would be great on the 10 inch screen would probably unusable on the iPhone. So, if it happens, it would want it to be opt-in / configurable also.

Yes/No.
FL's nomenclature has always been wrong, in my opinion. What is meant by "layout" is simply "All of the tabs that are open." This includes tabs which have two resources in the same tab. If you believe that having two resources open in the same tab is "unusable" on the iPhone, you would not like the syncing of "layouts."
Using the common definition of "layout" (rather than FL/Logo's one), I agree with your basic premise: Different devices, different screen size/shapes should mean different layouts.

I would like it if they sync. If you have to reinstall for some reason you lose your Layouts. If different devices is an issue just make different Layouts like Bible study iPhone etc. I don't see why different devices would be an issue though. All mobile Layouts save is what tabs are open.

I agree. I’m in seminary and have used layouts to keep all my textbooks/resources open for a given class, and it’d be really useful if my laptop layouts were accessible on iPad as well. If you don’t think a given layout would work well on a given screen size, you could still have access to it, but not use it. Other layouts that map well between screen sizes would then be easily accessible, and updates to layouts (even just to bookmark what page you’re on) would then carry over to continue reading on another device. Seems like it should be doable to have a toggle-able Sync option for those who don’t want syncing across platforms, or even a manual forced-sync option.

Does anyone know if there has been update on this in Logos 10?
I'm debating whether to get it and one the things I'd like is to be able to set things up on desktop (e.g. prayer and devotional layout, workflows , etc.), but then send it to my device so I can read bits in my munch break, etc. and take off from where I started.
Any Logos 10 users out there who've encountered this?

What Donnie said. I agree with why he said it.
