BUG: Unable to remove card iOS

On iOS 12.1 I have seven cards on my screen. I keep trying to delete the empty prayer list card but when I do an empty devotional card pops up in its place. When I delete the devotional card the prayer list comes back... like a nasty game of whack-a-prayercard

I cannot duplicate this issue on Mojave. has this been happening since downloading L8, or did it just start today?
