Customizing Dashboard Cards
Overall, I like the idea of having the Dashboard Cards and I think I will use them. However, there is the issue I have. In my Bible reading plan that I use daily, it automatically created a dashboard card for it. However, when I open the card, it is really a layout that opens the Bible I am reading through, the notes tool, the FaithLife Study Bible, and my actual reading plan.
I don't want all of this. When I do my Bible reading, I simply want my Bible and my favorite study Bible - which isn't the FaithLife Study Bible!
Is there a way that I can change the dashboard card to what I want in my Bible reading plan?

Create the layout you want to use, then open up your layouts menu and open the menu for the Bible Reading Plan home page layout. Select "Replace with current layout". This will load the specified layout when you open the Bible reading plan. Note that this will always use the Bibles you define in the layout, even if your reading plan is for a different Bible.

Thank you so much, Andrew! I got it fixed this morning. Since you work for FaithLife, I want to see that I believe Logos 8 is a HUGE step forward. GREAT WORK.

I had posted on this elsewhere and stumbled on this elegant solution. Thanks for posting. I hope the Wiki's will contain this information too.

This works well except that I no longer am able to check off that I have read the current passage, i.e. the "mark read" button no longer appears at the end of the chapter.
